Wanna go sailing? Great! How's the weather? All we need is you and a little wind. Give us a call and let's see what we can do.

We offer day sailing in Portland or Cascade Locks. Typical outings are two to four hours, and yes, your participation is encouraged (though not required). We can take up to eighteen people on three boats, but most often it's just one boat and your small group.

Scheduling can be difficult, though. We teach regularly scheduled sailing lessons at Portland Sailing Center, and are often gone on the longer trips, Sea Trials and Bonneville. And given the requirement for fair winds, advance scheduling does not always work. Sometimes we can go on an hour's notice. Daysailing in Portland

Our dock at Portland Sailing Center is minutes from downtown Portland. Fair to fine dining is not far away. Winds in the summer are generally from the northwest, 5 to 15 knots. Portland sailing is an excellent choice for a convenient excursion, and very often a rousing sail.

Hourly rates per skippered boat for Portland:

• 35 foot boat (maximum six passengers) $65/hr. for two people, add $10 per hour for each additional passenger, two hour minimum.
• 39 foot boat (maximum six passengers) $75/hr. for two people, add $10 per hour for each additional passenger, two hour minimum.

Daysailing in the Columbia River Gorge

Summer winds in The Gorge are generally westerly, 10 to 20 knots. With warm summer temperatures this can be a laugh-out-loud ride, and if the winds disappoint the scenery picks up the slack. Try the pizza at Pacific Crest Pub and Hostel in town, or picnic at Cascade Locks Marine Park and we’ll pick you up from the docks east of the Sternwheeler facility.

• 38 foot boat (max six passengers) $60/hr. for one person, add $10 per hour for each additional passenger. Three hour minimum.
