Messenger Sailing Adventures schedule for 2010

Below are favorable dates for the three Messenger adventures, based on tide and current schedules. We do not wish or expect to fulfill all the dates shown, and we will pare the schedule as the season progresses. Let us know early if you see a date you like. Send an email or check the board in the Portland Sailing Center office for upcoming dates.

A minimum of three participants is required to firm up any date (maximum four per boat, except Bonneville). Larger groups can be accommodated by special arrangement or multiple boats.

Special note about Bonneville: For groups of four or more we will sometimes do the Bonneville trip on a date that is not scheduled. Let us know if you have a group and a weekend that works for you. Maybe we can work it out.

Sorry, we are not set up for online sign up, but here's how to do it the old-fashioned way. Read the Adventures outlines and the Frequently Asked Questions. These contain helpful information and some basic rules such as alcohol and cell phone policies. Then talk to Cliff Mason about any questions or concerns you have. As soon as you are ready to commit to a date, please send a deposit of $100 per person to Cliff Mason 344 NE 79th Ave. Portland OR 97213. Note your date selection. Checks are best, cash is okay (in person), credit cards won't do. This is non-refundable. The balance must be paid prior to departure. Once we have a quorum for your date we'll start communicating the particulars for preparation and departure. Keep in mind these trips are limited to four participants, and three is quite common. If one person drops it is a hardship on the others and can force cancellation of the entire event.

Whatever you do, don't put it off til the end of the season!
